Become a better leader!
Change Management for Leaders
This 2 day program kicks off with the introduction of the concept of fundamental change in psychology. All change is behavioral change and the introduction to the change management for leaders is to connect them to their own behavioral change they have experienced. It quickly segues into the foundation metaphor of Rider & Elephant from renowned psychologist Jonathan Haidt. This provides the foundation of the change model being introduced – Direct the Rider, Motivate the Elephant, and Shape the Path. The program then expands into each segment of the model where the elements are explained and experienced. It is critical for participants to experience the behavioral change themselves for each step in order to anchor the learning of the model.
Building on the overnight assignment, day 2 continues to focus on the remaining elements of the model by applying the model to real situations at work for the participants. The day is packed with experiential and interactive activities that blends the knowledge and support of all participants to help each other move their change efforts forward. The program is completed with an action plan on how to bring the skills learned back in to the reality of their day to day.
The seminar is designed to be active, interactive, and challenging. It employs a variety of learning methods, with its primary purpose being to create awareness and enhance behavioral change skills.
